Rulebook Update L-31507-1

It has been brought to the attention of INEX that some competitors that race on dirt tracks have been having an issue with "spinning" the tire off the wheel.

It has been officially requested to use sheet metal screws through the bead of the wheel into the bead of the tire to help prevent the tire from coming off the wheel.

This request will be approved by INEX as of 3/15/07 for use at dirt track events only.

A maximum of eight screws on each side of each wheel will be allowed. The screw heads may not protrude beyond the outside edge of the wheel lip. The screws should be around a #10 X 1/2" screw.

When making this change/addition you are altering the car from the original design and therefore, 600Racing, Inc., INEX, and the INEX inspectors take no responsibility for the safety or reliability of this change/addition.
