During Monday night's Summer Shootout practice, a problem was discovered in the mounting location of the hard-wired transponders for the Bandoleros. 600 Racing and INEX officials are working to solve this problem, and it will likely result in a new placement of the Bandolero hard-wire transponder.

However, for Tuesday night's events, please disconnect the hard-wire transponder. You will be issued a rechargeable unit, with mounting instructions, to use for opening night. The transponders will be available for pickup beginning at 2 p.m. at the 600 Racing Parts Trailer in the Busch garage.

There will be a tech bulletin addressing the new mounting location of the hard-wire transponders as soon as possible. Again, this is only an issue with the Bandoleros. Thank you for your patience as we work through this issue.
