Common Thunder Roadster Technical Violations

Thunder Roadster Cars
 • Arm Restraints #2, Page #19

   - Arm restraints are mandatory for all Thunder Roadster competitors.
 • Cooling, Engine #15, Page #24 and #17, Page #33
   - Oil coolers must be "as delivered by 600 Racing Inc.". Aftermarket coolers are not allowed.
 • Mandatory Series Sponsor Decals & Patches # 25, Page #26
   - The INEX logo & Thunder Roadster Car logo decals must be on all Thunder Roadster Cars. If you do not have these decals on your car, you may not receive national points, yearend awards and in some cases, you may be prevented from racing in certain events completely.
 • Ride Height #34, Page #27
   - The ride height on a Thunder Roadster is 3" on the frame only.
 • Spindles #37, Page #28
   - All Thunder Roadsters must use stock aluminum spindles "as delivered by 600 Racing, Inc.".
 • Tires #42, Page #28 (Tread Depth)
   - Thunder Roadster tires do not have a tread depth minimum rule.
 • Weight #46, Page #29
   - The minimum weights listed are just that, a minimum. 1 pound light is below the listed minimum and will equal a disqualification.
 • Wheelbase & Width & Offset
   - These items can be adjusted as far as the stock (un-modified) components will allow.
 • Sealed Engines (Bold Print), Page #29
   - Thunder Roadsters are only allowed to use the sealed 1250 engine. Sealed engines must have all seals as currently delivered by 600 Racing, Inc.
  • Alternators #1, Page #30
   - Alternators must be working at all times and must show output at idle.
 • Ignition System #15, Page #32
   - The ignition system on a Thunder Roadster must remain stock XJ 1300 Yamaha components "as delivered by 600 Racing, Inc.". No red boxes, red coils, aftermarket pickups, etc.
