Battle at Bristol Set for March 29-30

HARRISBURG, N.C. - The first Battle of Bristol for the RACEceiver Legends Car, Bandoleros and Thunder Roadsters will take place at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway March 29-30.

The event will feature two days of INEX points racing at the famed half-mile. The Thunder Roadsters will race on the half-mile speedway while the RACEceiver Legends Cars and Bandoleros will compete on the apron and pit road portions of the track. The apron and pit road portions were repaved as part of an extensive infield renovation before last fall's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series event.  

The March 30 event will be a RACEcevier National Touring Series/Regional Qualifier event for the Legends and Bandolero Championship series event for the Bandolero cars.

The Thunder Roadster portion of the event will be part of the King of the Oval Series while KOIL Tour points will also be available for all events.

Friday, March 28 will feature a practice from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at a cost of $40 per car. Car and driver entry fees will be $75 for both days or $45 per day. Pit passes will be $20 a day for INEX members and $25 a day for non-INEX members.
