The RACEceiver Legends Cars have again been invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Mopar Sprint and Midget Classic at Orlando Speedworld Dec. 6-7. This race, run in conjunction with the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, is an invitational-only Legend events.

"We are excited to be back on the schedule for the Mopar Sprint and Midget Classic," said PRI Legends Invitational promoter, James Michael Spink. "The past two years have been incredible, and the Legends race is always a highlight - one of the best races of the night. It is an incredible opportunity for our drivers to showcase their talent in front of so many people in the motorsports industry."

The show will again be taped for a later broadcast on ESPN2 with the RACEceiver Legends cars as part of the telecast.

Criteria for receiving an automatic invitation to the event are as follows: the 15 finish in last year's PRI Legends Invitational; top-five finishers in all three divisions from the 2006 Asphalt Nationals; top-five finishers in each division from the 2007 Asphalt Nationals; 2007 INEX National Asphalt Oval point champions in all three divisions; top-five finishers from the 2007 Young Lions Nationals, the 2007 National Touring Series point champion in all three divisions and the top eight Legends drivers from the Orlando Speedworld market (Russ Thomson selected). To be eligible to compete, drivers meeting that criteria must have competed in 10 INEX-sanctioned races during the course of the 2007 season.

In addition to the above criteria, drivers can qualify for an invitation to the PRI Legends Invitational by winning one of the three qualifying races. Each divisional winner at the three qualifying races will receive an invitation.
