The first three Thunder Roadster practice sessions on Tuesday night will be conducted on the 1.5-mile modified superspeedway (using the frontstretch chicane). We are conducting these special practice sessions in advance of a possible special event at Summer Shootout.

These special sessions will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end by 7:30 p.m. The remaining practice sessions will be conducted on the quarter-mile oval. According to 600 Racing/INEX officials, this configuration does not require changing gearing or setups, so there should be no worry about losing valuable Summer Shootout practice time. Practice will be controlled and pack racing will be discouraged.

Spotters will be mandatory!
