Buescher Hits Jackpot in Vegas

LAS VEGAS - Fourteen-year-old Chris Buescher has been tearing up the asphalt at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this season in preparations for the 16th Annual RACEceiver Legends Car Asphalt Nationals, Oct. 11-13.

Buescher, a Legends Pro driver from Prosper, Texas, collected his seventh winner's trophy from The Bullring Victory Lane Saturday night. He has been a regular on the Texas Legends circuit for many years, and has raced at the Summer Shootout at Lowe's Motor Speedway the past two seasons. When the announcement about the Asphalt Nationals was made public, Buescher and his team added The Bullring to their racing schedule.

Buescher was third in the Pro race at last year's Asphalt Nationals in Georgia, and has to be considered an early favorite to take the top spot at this year's event. Buescher hasn't been the only non-local Legends racer taking advantage of the The Bullring schedule to prepare for the prestigious event.

The Bullring, which runs Legends and Bandoleros on Friday night as well, offers RACEceiver Legends drivers an opportunity to get two full points races in during a weekend.
